Versione Italiana

English Version

DO YOU WANT TO GREET SOMEONE? OUR READERS OR YOUR FANS?

- I'd like to say hello to all the hot, beautiful ladies out there
because you know that Starbuck is a ladies man. Also I'd like to say
hello to Bret "Hit Man" Hart, who is now living in Italy. Bret has been
one of the biggest inspirations for me in my career.

From what age did you start to practice WRESTLING?

- I trained a bit of amateur wrestling when I lived in Thunder Bay,
Ontario, Canada back when I was about 8 years old. It only lasted for
under a year and I kind of lost interest. When I turned 19 Lance Storm
trained me at the Hart Brothers wrestling academy in Calgary, Alberta,
Canada. Jason The Terrible (famous in Puerto Rico and Stampede
Wrestling) also trained me a bit.

COULD YOU ILLUSTRATE YOUR FINISHER?

- I call it Starbuck's Fabulous Spike Piledriver, or more simply named
my "Attitude Adjustment". Once I get my opponent weakened down enough, I
trap his head between my knees, lift him upside down and drop him with
incredible force on his head, knocking him so silly that even his kids
are going to born dizzy. Most wrestlers do not manage to kick out of
that move and very few wrestlers know how to do it right. I took my
finishing move from wrestling legend "Mr. Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

If you should Make An Approach To A Legend Of WRESTLING, Which do you
Feel Nearbyer Yourself Or In A Certain Sense . What you Feel to Mostly
Resemble?

- I think I have a lot of Bret Hart's characteristics. I have some of
Ric Flair's characteristics also. In terms of ring psychology and
engineering a match I think have traits from both of those classic
wrestlers. I also have small bits of Mitsuhara Misawa and Dan Kroffat in
me, maybe even Triple H and Shawn Michaels to a degree.

DO YOU FOLLOW OTHER SPORTS?

- Wrestling is my only love in the sports world.

HOW COME THE NAME STARBUCK?

- It comes from the combination of "star", which needs no explanation,
and "buck", which means stud in the english language. Buck is a slang
term for stud, or a macho Cassanova type of guy. So that's Starbuck.

WHERE DO YOU THINK OR DREAM TO ARRIVE AT ONE DAY?

- I would like to get a chance to become a star in Japan. Japan carries
a lot of mystique and tradition in terms of pro wrestling. Some of my
favorite wrestlers are Japanese. Kenji Mutoh, Mitsuhara Misawa, Hiroshi
Hase, Jumbo Tsuruta, Kenta Kobashi, Jun Akiyama, etc. Of course I'd like
to go back to North America to wrestle and also wreste all around the
world in places that I have not been before.

YOU HOW MUCH TRAIN YOUR DAY?

- I train 3 times a week in the gym with weights and twice a week I
train pro wrestling. I eat between 4-5 meals a day, with lots of fruits
and vegetables, protein and healthy fats. Very little bread and wheat
products.

DO YOU ALWAYS TRY TO ARRIVE IN FORM TO A MATCH?

- I take wrestling very seriously because I want to be the best at what
I do. That means I also do my best to prepare for every match.

WHAT DO YOU FEEL SAY THE YOUNG PEOPLE TO UNDERTAKE YOUR SAME ROAD?

- You need discipline to make it in pro wrestling. You need a high
tolerance of pain, a strong heart and drive, humbleness to learn and
hunger to achieve your goals and make it to the top. You must pay a
price to make it, and you must be willing to pay the price.

DO YOU JUDGE YOUR DANGEROUS OR RISKY JOB?

- Pro wrestling is a very risky job. It is very physical and demands
much from the athlete. But it is also very rewarding in the end when you
set out to be the best that you can be.

TO THIS POINT IN YOUR CAREER IF YOU SHOULD MAKE AN ACCOUNT AS YOU JUDGE
THESE YOUR YEARS FROM WRESTLER??

- I have been in the wrestling business since 1992 when I started as an
announcer. I have wrestled in the USA, Canada and in different places in
Europe. I still have not seen as many countries as I wish to see so I am
still hungry to experience more as a pro wrestler. I want to see the
world and be successful wherever I go. I have the hunger to be the best.

HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT THAT YOUR CAREER WAS ABOUT TO END?

- There have been a couple of occasions where I thought that the
injuries I suffered would put my wrestling career and future in
jeopardy. 1n 1995 I suffered a bad fall right on my head from the top
rope when my opponent did a huracanrana to me off the top turnbuckle. I
came down like a javelin, straight on my head and the crowd thought I
was dead. That was a very scary incident. In 2003 when Norweigan
wrestler Erik Isaksen broke my left ankle in two places I thought it
might spell the end of my career. But as I laid out for over a year I
just got hungrier. I love pro wrestling with all my heart, I have to do
it.

Well we have Ended.... Thanks Thousand For Your Availability. DO YOU
WANT TO MAKE A FINAL REGARD?

- I have been a Finnish Wrestling Champion and now as the Italian
Heavyweight Wrestling Champion I look forward to proving myself and
showing the fans of Italy that Canadians are some of the best wrestlers
in the world! Christian Cage, Edge, Chris Benoit, my good friends Chris
Jericho and Lance Storm and last but not least the great Hart family are
all a testament to the fantastic athletes that Canada has produced in
pro wrestling. I am proud to represent Canada here in Italy and all
around Europe and I will show all of the wrestling fans exactly why
Canada produces the best athletes in the world. Visit my website
www.buckorama.net and also my rock band's website at www.stonerkings.net
and always remember to support live professional wrestling in your
country!
